Chocolate Mint Coated Brownies
For a cool brownie treat, make brownies as directed.
Melt Andes mints in double boiler and pour over warm brownies.
Let set for a wonderful minty frosting.
Julie's Notes: If you don't have a double boiler you can either use a metal mixing bowl over a small pan of boiling water (but don't let the surface of the water touch the bottom of the bowl) . . .
Or you can melt them very slowly on very low heat in a none stick pan over you stove, stirring constantly. (But this may not work if you have an electric stove.)
Or you can try melting the candies in a glass bowl in the microwave a few seconds at a time and stirring in between.
Candied Baked Apples
Leftover snickers bars make a delicious dessert.
Simply chop them up with the food chopper.
Peel, core and slice a few apples.
Place them in a baking dish and sprinkle the chopped candy bars over the
apples.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes!!!
Serve alone or with vanilla ice cream.
